This is a glitch I discovered in the game. This glitch makes the merchant invincible for a time. To do this, equip the Mine Thrower, and, at point blank range, aim and fire it at his face.
Pokemon platinum nds rom. The mine should explode instantly. You will be thrown back, but he will still be there. Once this happens take out any weapon, and shoot/throw it at him, he won't go down. I just have 2 warnings about this glitch. First of all, you will not be able to talk to him in this state. Secondly he will only be in this state until you go to a door that takes you to another section (a door that has a mini cut scene when it opens), and if you go back and shoot him, he will die, and you won't see him again. I also recommend that you have infinate health using Gameshark or Action Replay, this makes it so you don't have to worry about killing yourself when you use the Mine Thrower.
In the castle area, right after engaging the Bugs in the sewers, you will see a large group of Ganados Zealots in mid prayer. If you spook them they will run away, and you miss out on ALOT of money. Right before the sewer they give you a flash grenade. When preparing the ambush on the congregation, go north then swing across the chandelier. When on the other side look down, and try to hit them all with a flash grenade to stun. Immediately jump down and run north to their exit point so you lock them in.
If you have an incendiary or frag grenade you could use it here, other wise line them up for some shotgun carnage. They will each drop a spinel and their leader drops an Illuminados pendant, worth around 32000 altogether. When you first enter Pueblo, there is a house on the top right (if you look on your map, the one near the center spot) This place contains ammunition and the shotgun and a grenade. If you want the shotgun, do not go in there until you've cleared out the villagers, because a chainsaw villager will come! Simply waste all the villagers till they leave, then enter the house, the shotgun will be right there, clear out the houses without having fear of being attacked for the chainsaw bagman can kill you in one slice of his chainsaw, and since your in a small building, this is very likely. After you defeat the zombie people from coming in the house where Luis helps you, you could go two ways. If you take the way near the sales man then you will have to fight a chainsaw lady.
You should start off by making Ashely hide and kill all the zombie people in the area. You will see a pit but leave Ashely hiding in the trash can thing, dont bring her with you. You need a rocket launcher for this. Once you jump into the pit the chainsaw lady will come with those zombie people.
All you have to do is aim your rocket launcher at her and fire. You will be hurt alot so be sure to have a first aid spray or some herbs cause the villagers will jump into the pit after you kill the chainsaw lady. Vijay tv tamil serial list.
The thing about sequels is you know what to expect. The conventions of the franchise are usually well established; they're familiar, comforting even. They're what gives the game its identity. Games critics try to approach sequels with an understanding of what the franchise in question does well and where it could improve. Plus, most of all, the elements which define it as that type of game.
Like any gamer, if we loved the previous instalment we really want more of the same, but better. Then the inevitable occurs. A formula starts to feel old, so Leading Publisher X promises a dramatic reinvention for Huge IP Y with a focus on Flavour Of The Month Game Feature Z. The end result?
All too often, the core elements which should be retained and built upon are abandoned and the game becomes something else entirely. Something unfamiliar, strange and awkward, which bears only a passing resemblance to what's gone before.
Something which doesn't quite belong. Which brings me to Resident Evil 4. I'm a huge fan of survival horror, but even I agree that Resi needed a kick up the arse. By the time Resident Evil Zero arrived in 2003, all that clunky wandering around creepy-but-static mansions, sipping coffee through door opening animations and battling the fixed camera had started to infect the game's fun factor. It was time for a change.
Capcom knew this. And so the first iteration splintered off to become Devil may Cry, while another stab saw a new-look Leon S. Kennedy battling a monster with a hooked hand in a haunted house. The iteration which made the most sense to me followed on from the excellent Code: Veronica - a fateful charge into enemy territory at Umbrella's European HQ; answers to the questions swirling around Oswald E.
Spencer; a battle against a super-powered Albert Wesker; maybe even a revelation about the mysterious shadow company he'd joined, which I'd long suspected could emerge as the series' new Big Bad Biocorp. What do you call survival horror when it's not survival horror?
Resident Evil 4. Then Shinji Mikami stepped in and ruined it all with three simple words: 'Umbrella was finished.' This is one of the biggest reasons I hate Resident Evil 4. I'd spent the best part of eight years watching Umbrella get built up to the point where I was dying to take them down. That pleasure was snatched from me, suddenly and unceremoniously, in a single cut-scene.
And what were the series' iconic zombies and devastating viruses replaced by? A mutating midget in a pirate hat. An Emperor Palpatine clone with a giant scorpion tail. An army of quasi-intelligent parasite-infected villagers who were so savage they couldn't even use firearms. Except for the ones who could.
And what was Leon's motivation for being there? To save the President's daughter. Resi 4's story had squat all to do with the rest of the series up to that point. Putting aside Leon in the lead role, Ada turning up unannounced and a cameo from Wesker, the game could be part of a separate series altogether. It's like Ubisoft deciding the Templars are a bit boring and those Assassins should battle little green men instead.
Compare Metal Gear Solid, another stalwart of late nineties, story-driven action adventure gaming. Like Resi, it was a series born of individually conceived, separately told narratives. These were interwoven to form a larger mythology.
Hideo Kojima has gone on record to say he didn't plan it out all in advance, George Lucas-style. All the same, there was never a sense that the MGS team was making up the storyline as it went along.
When Old Snake learns the true nature of MGS4's titular Patriots, a decades-spanning story is cast in an entirely new light. After a few hours blasting Plagas victims it all becomes a tad routine and stops being in the slightest bit scary.
The Resident Evil team seemed to lack this ability to spin a yarn and keep the big picture in mind. And it all came to a head with the end of Umbrella. The problem is that as long as a videogame is fun, its storyline is often thought of as something which is just a bit of a bonus. Publishers continue making the interactive equivalents of Highlander 2 and only the most hardcore seem to notice or care. We deserve better. The medium deserves better. But that disappointing plot twist isn't the number one reason I hate Resident Evil 4.
It's the gameplay. To be specific, it's the fact I spent the 20-odd hours playing this brand new Resident Evil game wondering when I was going to get to the Resident Evil bits. Picture your favourite contemporary game series - for the purposes of this example, let's say it's Call of Duty. Now imagine picking up Call of Duty: Red Insurgencies (play as the Soviet Secret Police, folks!). On booting up the game you discover the template has subtly shifted: it's now an open-ended, emergent Bioshock-style shooter. All that linear action movie pacing has been taken out and there's nary an explosive set-piece in sight. Or how about this: imagine excitedly loading the latest Final Fantasy, only to find the expansive overworld adventuring you know and love has been replaced by endless treks round lavishly decorated, sparsely interactive linear corridors.

Annoy Ashley When Ashley is on a cliff or still up a ladder, you can aim your gun up at her. She will grab her skirt and call you a pervert. Ashley's Sliding Puzzle To complete Ashley's puzzle with ease, take a look at the layout below: 123 456 789 Numbering the slots from top to bottom in that manner, hit the following positions in this order: 4, 7, 8, 9, 6, 3, 1, 7, 9. Watch out for the knights!.
Avoid being a victim of The Saw Early in the game, when Leon first enters the village, he should avoid the door that belongs to the building where Leon can get a free shotgun (the largest northeast building). Simply do not run into the house that triggers the cutscene. While Leon will still need to kill zombies to progress, he will not have to deal with the chainsaw enemies, who may be fairly tough on the out-set. After the bell rings, feel free to enter the house and collect the items and shotgun inside. Avoid damage from traps To avoid getting hurt by traps such as explosives and bear traps, use your laser sight and shoot at the explosive or the middle of the trap. Avoid The Second Tyrant Encounter (Helipad) As Jill, not returning Barry's 44 Magnum will result in Lisa Trevor killing him.
Letting Barry die will result in the Tyrant not attacking you on the Helipad! As Chris, not saving Rebecca from the Hunter in the Study will of course result in her dying! Letting Rebecca die will also result in the Tyrant not attacking you on the Helipad! Submitted by HRBEK. Bridge cutscene After all the villagers go into the church (chapter 1-1), go back to the starting point. If you press A to check the bridge, it will show a cutscene where Leon sees the truck on fire and the bridge has gone out.
Capcom Game Promo Late in the game, Leon will stumble across a weapon aptly called the Killer 7, an obvious tip of the hat to Capcom's Killer 7 videogame. Chapter 2-1 puzzle Before the end of the chapter, there is a puzzle in the church. The puzzle is a simple mix of colors. Three different designs surround the main design. The colors are red, green, and blue. When you enter the church, turn to the left and go down the little hall.
Climb the ladder. When you are up there, you will see that the way to the door is barred. You must get to the other side of the church by jumping on and off of the chandelier. On the other side, there is a set of switches. When you activate it, the puzzle starts.
The goal is to turn the designs so when combined, they are the same as the middle design. Turn red twice, green once, and blue three times.
When combined, it should create the design. Then, go in and grab Ashley. Chapter 3-4 puzzle The quickest way to complete the puzzle as Ashley in 3-4 is as follows.
The layout of the puzzle's squares is referred as: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Press A on the following in this order: 4, 7, 8, 9, 6, 3, 1, 7, 9. Character Hacking Tip If you have used a code device (eg. Action Replay) to play as Jack Krauser (etc) in the main game, it is vital that you skip all radio cut-scenes. If you do not do so, the game will crash. Albert Wesker seems to be able to handle most of those cut-scenes, but not the one in Pueblo (after fighting the villagers there). It might be an idea to actually go through the game with Leon again, taking note of where all of the radio cut-scenes are.
Submitted by HRBEK. Chasing Ashley The enemies who captures Ashley will seek to leave by the nearest area exit; these are the exits that have the 'green' OPEN or context command as opposed to the normal 'white' text. If they manage to reach one of these exits, then the game is over.
When leaving Ashley to do stuff alone, be sure not to leave her near a green exit door. Church Bell Hijinks When you get to the graveyard for the first time, Run up by the church and shoot the bell, 3 not-zombies will come running from where you entered, shoot, grab items, repeat. Color Error In round 2 select the special costume set. After you watch the cutscene where Ada saves Leon from the village chief check the broken window.
Leon will say 'There is something about that woman in red' when infact Ada is not wearing red at all. Control title screen Press the C-stick to move the background. Press R to zoom the view in or L to zoom out. Crown Jewels Kill Salazar's 'right hand' that you need to use the liquid nitrogen tanks on to receive the 'Crown Jewels'. Which fit into the 'Crown' treasure item. This is difficult; try using the Chicago Typewriter.
Defeating The Man With The Chainsaw When you meet the man with the chainsaw, shoot him with the shotgun and incendiary grenades. You can also just use your handgun, but you will probably get killed.
The shotgun is found in the building that is diagonal from the tower. Defeating Verdugo Not using the RL makes this fight harder, and in my opinion more fun, so try this if you choose not to buy a RL or don't have any cash. When you freeze him get close so the kick option appears, kick him down and he will stay frozen alot longer, allowing you to unload more rounds into him. Another tip if your using the BB when out of ammo freeze him at the next station reload then kick him over, you can still get at least 4 shots off. He will take about about 14 BB rounds at 20 damage a piece and a couple of Leon kicks to the face before he meets his doom. Plus you get an item worth 11000 Ptas for killing him.
Del Lago Secret When you first enter the area where you fight Del Lago, the monster in the water, head down to the dock. If you shoot the water about eight to fifteen times, you will get see what he thinks of you. Destroying the insect nest In the area where Ashley is carried away by the flying insects, you can destroy the nest that is hanging from the ceiling.
After it is destroyed, you will find a lot of green and red eyes, and if you are lucky, even a blue one. This is a good way to get the Butterfly Lamp filled with all three jewels early so that you can get some extra money for upgrades. Dodging Dr. Salvador If Dr. Salvador happens to back you into a corner, you should know that he is actually quite easy to dodge. He swings his chainsaw from his left side, so if you run past him (on his right side), you will easily avoid decapitation!
Practice this a few times in a new game to perfect it (if you must). Submitted by HRBEK. Double Broken Butterfly Ammo If you buy the broken butterfly before you find it, you can hold twice the ammo.
The shopkeeper will not sell you this gun if you already have it. Easy kills After you kill the hatchet guy as soon as you start the game, go upstairs to the window. Do not jump out.
Instead, take out your pistol and shoot the glass out. Then, carefully aim for the villagers' heads that are awaiting outside.
There are three of them. If you kill all three, you can jump out and avoid any damage. Easy money Once you gain access to the tunnel with the merchant beyond Pueblo, return to the farm area and wait for the chickens there to lay eggs. Exit and re-enter to begin the same process over again. After you fill your inventory, you can return to the nearby merchant to sell your eggs.
White chicken eggs sell for 300 Pesetas, brown eggs for 600 Pesetas, and golden eggs for 3,000 Pesetas. Eggs for Ashley There are three types of eggs, white, brown, and golden. Collect these, equip them, and fire on Ashley. They will not harm her and it is funny. Aim from a distance to get used to them.
They are lighter than a grenade and fly far when thrown. Note: She will duck when in close proximity. The Amber Ring will fall out. Submitted by: igncheats Maximize Leons Lifebar This process incurs several continues, which have no bearing on the game's ending. At the first fight, there is a in the boss arena. Take this item and combine it with any of the Green Herbs in the same room and use it.
This increases Leon's lifebar slightly. Now let the boss kill Leon. Since the boss' room is at a map transition (the green OPEN command is a dead giveaway), this lets you continue right at the boss fight but with Leon's life increase from your previous attempt.
Repeating this process will increase Leon's lifebar to maximum prematurely. Extra Yellow Herbs found later can be given to Ashley, or sold to the merchant for money. Submitted by: igncheats.
